A legendary gaming landmark, the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino is located in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. The hotel sits two miles north of The Strip, as part of the Fremont Street Experience, a dazzling reinvention of Las Vegas' original gambling avenue. A canopy of animated LED lights shelters the bustling pedestrian corridor and presents nightly light shows. Freemont Street also features regular live music and classic car displays. The Golden Nugget has been extensively upgraded since its 1946 construction in the style of a wild west saloon. Beneath the luminous canopy of Fremont Street, guests enter through the hotel's brilliantly crowned facade into a white-marble lobby. Chandeliers of brass and glass hang from mirrored ceilings. Palm trees, white alabaster swan statues, bronze fish sculptures and lush, tropical landscaping encircle the outdoor pool. Poolside cabanas available for rent are equipped with refrigerators, televisions, radios and complimentary snacks. Guests may receive full health and beauty treatments at the on-site spa. Amenities include tanning rooms, saunas, steam rooms, Swedish showers and spa tubs. Guests meet for dinner at Stefano's, which provides elegant evening dining and northern Italian cuisine served by singing waiters. Lille Langtry's opens for dinner and features sumptuous Cantonese dishes such as mesquite-broiled, prime-grade beef. Restaurant Zax provides a global menu for guests to enjoy over lunch and dinner. Night owls may select the hotel's Carson Street Café, open 24 hours to tempt midnight gamblers with Hawaiian specialties such as Kahlua pork. This 22-story resort has 1,907 guestrooms and suites providing incredible views of the Las Vegas skyline, Spring Mountains or the pool terrace. Guestrooms are decorated in warm earth tones, and are equipped with high-speed Internet access and multi-line telephones. Additional touches include full-size desks, entertainment armoires, and marble bathrooms with elegant fixtures. Gamblers with an appreciation for gambling history enjoy this resort casino's location on rejuvenated Fremont Street. Book a minimum two-night stay for travel during the following dates and enjoy complimentary tickets, a value of $110, to the Gordie Brown show for two guests per room. Offer valid for travel November 14, 2005 - January 13, 2006. The Gordie Brown show is featured Friday - Tuesday, 7:30 PM; dark Wednesday and Thursday. Guests will be charged a mandatory 10% entertainment tax of $4.50 per ticket, for a combined total of $11. Golden Values books feature over $100 in dining and entertainment discounts (including two-for-one buffets, complimentary cocktails and more), and will be distributed at the front desk upon check-in. Lillie's will move to a new location on approximately 1/10/06. 1/03/06 - 2/15/06: Spa and Salon renovation - An exercise room, beauty and massage treatments will be provided in an alternative location. 12/01/05 - 12/01/06: Casino renovation - Sections of the casino will be renovated to include a new poker room, keno lounge, race and sports book, 24 Karat Club booth and casino lounge, Aquarium Restaurant, showroom, night club and dynamic new rooms and suites. |
